How can I become a Tot Squad service provider?

If you're a trained, certified or experienced service provider specializing in a category that Tot Squad offers (or should offer!), you can apply to become a part of our team. Our highly specialized network of providers mean not every applicant will join us, so apply today. Services can be provided in person or virtually, so some providers can work remotely.

Are Tot Squad experts trained and certified?

We only hire the best experts in every field of service we offer. Depending on the service you're seeking, our experts may have a certificate or special training specific to their field, like car seat installation completed by our CPSTs (Child Passenger Safety Technician). If you'd like more information on your provider, just ask!


I used a promo code when I made my appointment, but the discount was not taken off the total.

Simply mention the code at the time of checkout and we will take off any valid promotions. No charges are applied to your credit card at the time of booking; we only use it to hold your appointment.

I booked a house call online, does this mean we are confirmed?

No, you will be contacted within 24 hours to confirm your house call request. We may need to move the date or time depending on staff availability.

I booked an appointment online, but need to make a change to my appointment. How do I do this?

Please email us at info@thetotsquad.com with any changes you wish to make to your appointment at least 24 hours beforehand and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Why do I need to enter my credit card information?

A credit card is required to hold the appointment. Appointments are highly recommended for guaranteed service. You will NOT be charged until the time of the appointment, or unless you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please make changes to your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise we charge a $20 cancellation fee. However, if you reschedule your appointment within 7 days of your missed appointment, we will credit the cancellation fee against your total.

What are your hours of operation?

We are typically hard at work from 10:00AM-5:00PM, 7 days a week, 360 days a year. Please click here to select your location and view services and the calendar for your area.

Do I have to schedule an appointment?

Making an appointment helps us ensure we can accommodate you and get you in and out as quickly as possible. Walk-up appointments are seen on a first come, first serve basis, but we cannot always guarantee same day service. Visit our online booking system to make an appointment or just contact us.

How much does Tot Squad charge?

We offer a variety of packages based on the level of service needed. Select a location to view pricing for our services.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Should I tip the staff?

Gratuity is not included in our services, but tips are always appreciated. We suggest 15-20% of your total.

Can I send my nanny or babysitter to get my stroller and car seat cleaned?

Of course - when you book your appointment online, you will enter your credit card information to hold the reservation, but you will not be charged until services are rendered.

How long does it take for the Tot Squad to clean my car seat or stroller?

Most services can be performed in less than an hour, but see our services page for more accurate times.

Do you offer loaner strollers?

Yes, we have UPPAbaby G-Lite strollers available to borrow while your stroller is being cleaned. If you let us know ahead of time, we can be sure to reserve one for you.

Can the Tot Squad come to my house?

Absolutely! We love to make house calls and will clean strollers, car seats, other baby gear or install car seats on site. There is an additional fee for house calls, please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Do you clean other baby products (high chairs, playards, etc.)?

Of course - we can clean almost any baby gear you have. If you don’t see it listed on the menu here, please contact us.

Do you service triple or quadruple strollers?

Yes, we service most baby gear, including triple or quadruple strollers. There is a charge of $20 per additional seat of the cleaning package you select.

Does Tot Squad offer a guarantee?

We are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. If you aren't completely satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of your service and we will happily perform the service again at no charge.

Why are you asking for personal information?

We collect personal information to better serve our customers, for example if we need to contact you regarding your items. We will never share or sell your information and we often offer special discounts and coupons in our newsletters.



Besides the obvious yuck factor, why is it important to regularly clean my gear?

Food, juice, milk and other substances can make the buckles of your car seat sticky and difficult to unlatch in an emergency. Regular maintenance can help prevent this. Also, germs, mold, strep or staph bacteria can lurk in your baby gear. How often should I have my stroller and car seat cleaned?

We recommend regular maintenance of your strollers and car seats every three months. This will help keep your children safe from sticky latches and germs while extending the life of your products. Schedule a recurring package now!

What cleaning products do you use when cleaning strollers and car seats?

We use only natural, non-toxic and biodegradable cleaners that are tough on dirt, but safe for your wee ones, including cleaning products from Honest Co., Grandma’s Secret and DPClean.

My baby has allergies or is sensitive to cleaning products. Can you still help me?

We can accommodate most sensitivities. Please contact us here to inquire about any special needs.

Do you use environmentally friendly products in baby gear cleaning?

We use only natural, non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products and washable cloth rags rather than paper towels. By helping families extend the life of their baby products with regular maintenance, they can use them longer or resell or donate them for use by other families. We can also help families to donate their used gear to the charities we work with or recycle expired car seats.



What is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician?

Each of our technicians who install car seats has undergone rigorous training and certification to become a Child Passenger Safety Technician through the Safe Kids organization. This ensures your child’s car seat will be installed correctly and safely. Visit SafeKids' website to find out more.

Can I reinstall my child’s car seat by myself after its been cleaned?

Yes, customers always have the option to reinstall seats by themselves, but we offer complimentary installation on all our car seat cleaning packages, except our BASICS. With as many as 85 percent of car seats improperly installed, according to The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, why not give yourself peace of mind and let one of our Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians reinstall it?
